


Emergency Preparedness

For Boy Scouts, The Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge is Eagle required. It is also now being
offered with table-top and disaster scenarios with the assistance of
the Scioto County Emergency Management Agency and the CERT teams being formed.
CERT is Community Emergency Response Team. The 2005 National Jamboree "Emergency Preparedness Award"
required that all troop members have the First Aid or E-Prep Merit Badge.
Jamboree Troop 1312 was the First In The Nation to earn the award!
